1. Browse first, account later

You can explore city maps and public listings without creating an account. We still receive basic technical data that any website receives (for example IP address, browser type, and pages requested) so we can run, secure, and improve the service.

2. Information we collect

• Account data — name, email, and sign-in identifiers if you use Google or email authentication.
• Listing data — rent, BHK, area, photos, terms, and an approximate map location when you drop a pin or list a stay.
• Messages — interest requests and chat you send through BoomBHK.
• Device data — cookies or similar storage for session, preferences, and fraud prevention.

3. Location privacy

Public pins are not shown at your exact door. Coordinates are rounded so others see a neighbourhood-level marker. Share a precise address only after you choose to connect with someone.

4. How we use information

We use data to:

• Show maps, listings, and search results.
• Create and secure your account.
• Let owners and seekers message each other.
• Detect spam, abuse, and fake listings.
• Understand which cities and features people use, in aggregate.

We do not sell your personal information to brokers or advertisers.

5. Sharing

We share data only when needed to operate BoomBHK, including:

• Infrastructure and database providers that host the app.
• Map providers (such as Google Maps) to render maps and places.
• Auth providers when you sign in with Google or email.
• Law enforcement if we are legally required to do so.

Other users see what you publish on a listing or seeker pin — not your email, unless you share it yourself.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for login sessions and similar storage to remember anonymous session IDs used to reduce spam. You can block cookies in your browser; some features (especially sign-in) will not work without them.

7. Retention

We keep account and listing data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or law requires a longer hold (for example abuse records).

8. Your choices

You can update listings from your dashboard, sign out, or email hello@boombhk.com to request a copy of your data or deletion of your account. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder.

9. Children

BoomBHK is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected here and, where appropriate, in the product.
