What is BoomBHK?
BoomBHK is a free map of real rents across Indian cities. Tenants and owners drop pins so you can see what people actually pay — for long-term flats and short-term stays — without brokerage spam.
Is BoomBHK free to use?
Yes. Browsing the rent map, city pages, and listings is free. Creating an account, listing a flat, finding a flatmate, and listing a short-term stay are also free.
Do I need an account to browse rents?
No. You can explore city maps anonymously. An account is optional and is used when you want to list a place, save pins, message an owner, or sync activity across devices.
Does BoomBHK charge brokerage?
No. BoomBHK is not a brokerage. We do not charge commission on rentals. Owners and tenants connect directly. Always confirm rent, deposit, and house rules with the other party before you pay anything.
Which cities are covered?
BoomBHK covers major Indian rental markets including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Gurugram, Noida, and more. Open the homepage to see every live city map.
How do I list my flat?
Tap List flat, sign in, and complete the listing form with rent, BHK, location, photos, and your terms. Your pin appears on the city map with a privacy blur so the exact door is not shown.
What are short-term stays?
Short-term stays are furnished rooms or flats for a few nights or weeks — useful for exams, medical visits, wedding guests, or work trips. Search them on each city's stays map.
How do I find a flatmate?
Use Find flatmate to post what you are looking for. Other people on the map can see your seeker pin and reach out. Keep conversations on BoomBHK until you are comfortable sharing a phone number.
Are listing locations exact?
No. Pin coordinates are rounded so the public map shows an approximate area, not your exact building. Share the precise address only after you choose to connect with someone.
How should I treat rents I see on the map?
Pins are crowdsourced by tenants and owners. They are a useful signal, not a guaranteed quote. Rents change with furnishing, society, and season — confirm the current price before you commit.
How do I contact an owner?
Open a listing and send an interest or message. Some contact details stay private until you have an account. Never pay a token, deposit, or hold fee to someone you have not verified.
How do I report a fake or spam listing?
Use the report or flag option on the listing if you see one, or email hello@boombhk.com with the listing link and a short description. We review reports and may remove listings that break our terms.
Can I delete my account or listing?
Yes. You can unpublish or remove listings from your dashboard. For account deletion or a copy of your data, email hello@boombhk.com from the address on your account.
